About PitchPulse
PitchPulse is an independent browser football strategy and knowledge game about building squads across eras, comparing historical player cards and testing football decisions.
Official V1.0 release
PitchPulse V1.0.0 is the first official release of the project. The release combines Draft, Quiz Lab, casual Arena, competitive Ranked, Seasons, Clubs, accounts, cloud save, Global Chat, Gift Codes and public aggregate activity statistics into one supported browser-game experience for phone, tablet and desktop.
What the project is
PitchPulse starts from a simple idea: football history becomes more interesting when the player has to make a decision. Instead of presenting a static list of famous names, the game asks you to build a complete XI from randomly revealed historical eras. A great attacker may be exciting, but choosing him can be a mistake if your squad still has no centre-back or goalkeeper. The draft therefore combines collecting with squad planning.
The game also includes short football knowledge modes. Those modes reuse the same historical database for questions about ratings, nations, careers and club combinations. Casual Arena is separated from Ranked so that practice sessions do not change persistent competitive RP. Ranked seasons, missions and clubs provide longer-term progression for players who want it.
How ratings should be interpreted
PitchPulse ratings are original game values. They are not official EA SPORTS FC ratings, FIFA ratings, club ratings or a claim to be a definitive ranking of football history. A card is a gameplay representation of a selected season or tournament era. The 80–115 scale exists to create visible differences between ordinary, rare and exceptional cards inside the game economy.
Historical data and editorial approach
The database is curated for gameplay. Player names, nationalities, positions and historical teams are used to create recognizable football contexts, while the numerical attributes are fictionalized for the game. PitchPulse is not a live registration database and should not be used as a source for current transfers, contracts or official statistics.
When new eras or cards are added, the goal is to make the game more varied without pretending that every historical comparison has one objectively correct answer. Where the game uses a simplified career path or position list, that simplification is part of game design rather than an official record.
Why the site has guides and database pages
The guides explain the actual game systems: how to spend coins, how chemistry works, why Ranked is different from casual play and what each rarity means. The database indexes help players understand which nations, clubs and player eras can appear. These pages are intended to support gameplay, not to manufacture search pages around unrelated keywords.
Advertising and monetization
During AdSense review, display advertising is disabled on the interactive game. PitchPulse does not intentionally place ads on reveal screens, loading states, matchmaking, empty squad screens or modal interfaces. Any future advertising will be separated from the core game controls and limited to pages with substantial publisher-written content.
